Pilar de la Horadada is a municipality in the province of Alicante, in the Valencian Community, Spain. Located in the extreme south of the province, in the Vega Baja region, bordering the Region of Murcia, it is the southernmost municipality in the Valencian Community and has 22,597 inhabitants. Until 1986, it belonged to the municipality of Orihuela.
