Santa Pola is a municipality in the Valencian Community (Spain) located on the coast of the province of Alicante, in the region of Bajo Vinalopó. It had 33,303 inhabitants in 2020. Four of the main attractions of Santa Pola are its historical remains, the Island of Tabarca, its salt flats and its beaches with a blue flag, a symbol of environmental quality awarded by the European Foundation for Environmental Education.
